Team News l No new injury concerns Head coach David Wagner has confirmed that no new injury concerns have arisen in the week leading up to Norwich City’s visit to Portman Road on Saturday (KO 12:30 p.m.).
Reviewing the list of recovering players, he said: “Grant Hanley has been training all week and will play 45 minutes for the U21s on Sunday, everyone is on their way home.
“Ben Gibson is back in training next week, Hwang Ui-Jo will be back in training at the end of the week and Jacob Sørensen is also pretty close.”
“Josh Sargent will complete the final stages of conditioning work next week and we expect him back in team training soon.” Reflecting on Norwich City’s 3-1 midweek win over Sheffield Wednesday, Wagner said it was a deserved result.
“We were better at set pieces, we didn’t make things easy on ourselves and take our chances early, but it was a good performance and it was important to show that after the 0-0 draw 0.”The East Anglian derby takes place on Sunday for the first time in four years and Wagner confirmed the whole team was looking forward to it.

Wagner focuses on Ipswich, who have had four wins in their last five games: “At the start of the season nobody expected their form, but if you follow them, what they’ve done and how they’re playing, it’s no surprise they’re second in the rankings.
“They deserve what they’ve gotten so far, but you want to test yourself against the best. “You look forward to competing in competitions where you can test yourself against the best.”
