Aston Villa head coach Unai Emery has named his starting XI to face Everton at Goodison Park.
Emery has made four changes to the side which won 1-0 at Middlesbrough in the FA Cup last weekend, but Pau Torres has not been named in the squad, while Jacob Ramsey misses out through injury. In come Diego Carlos, Douglas Luiz, Moussa Diaby and Ollie Watkins, while Youri Tielemans has been named among the substitues.
Villa have the opportunity to move joint-top of the Premier League table with a win this afternoon. They have the seventh-best away record this season and have only won two of their last six games on the road in the league.
The two sides have met twice already this term, Villa triumphing 4-0 at home in the Premier League in August before Everton won 2-1 at Villa Park in the League Cup in September.
Emi Martinez starts in goal this afternoon in front of a back four of Ezri Konsa, Carlos, Clement Lenglet and Alex Moreno. Boubacar Kamara plays his first league game since the win over Brentford last month and partners Luiz.
John McGinn will operate from the left and Leon Bailey on the right as Moussa Diaby supports Ollie Watkins in attack.
Villa XI: Martinez, Konsa, Carlos, Lenglet, Moreno, Kamara, Luiz, McGinn, Bailey, Diaby, Watkins.
