The Millers have won just once in their last 18 Championship outings and are yet to taste victory on the road during their league campaign this season. Currently marooned at the foot of the table, they visit Elland Road for today’s 3pm kick-off knowing Leeds are the only team in the Football League still unbeaten at home in 2023/24.
Head coach Leam Richardson is a born-and-bred Leeds fan but will attempt to cause an upset of the highest order in front of an Elland Road crowd seeking to keep the pressure on the likes of Leicester City, Southampton and Ipswich Town at the summit of the Championship table.
Pascal Struijk and Daniel James are ruled out for this one, while Jamie Shackleton has a chance of making the matchday squad after missing the training week through illness.

4′ CHANCE. Some lovely one-touch stuff from Leeds, Rutter then sends Gnonto away and he tries to find Summerville but just overcooks the final ball. Left it in the microwave for about 10 seconds too long.
6′ Firpo, Summerville and Rutter combine, the latter fizzing a cut-back to Bamford and he tries a fancy redirect effort but it’s tame and Johansson saves.
10′ Rutter with his usual brilliance, Bamford takes over in the area and a body gets in the way of his shot. Gray then wins a free-kick on the touchline level with the edge of the area. 0-0
11′ THERE IT IS. Firpo’s ball in from the left, Bamford claiming it, Leeds are in front. A suggestion by several Rotherham players that the Leeds striker may have used a hand to guide the ball into the net, there but the goal stands.
18′ Rodon caught late and painfully by Jordan Hugill on the touchline. Yellow card out straight away.
25′ Rutter drives goalwards, Bamford makes a run to take a player away and Rutter takes the chance to have a crack but it’s over the bar.
26′ Massive chance. Firpo nicks it on the edge of the area, potentially with a trip, play goes on and he rolls to Summerville who shoots from 16 yards and skies it.
34′ Ampadu plays an absolute pearler to find the run of Bamford in behind, if he brings it down he’s one v one but touch gets away from him.
