Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Joe Montana is one of the most famous NFL players in history.

Ahead of the big game, Montana recently said the following to players in the San Francisco locker room (via Yahoo Sports on Twitter).“You just have to do what you’ve been doing all year. Try not to sympathize with what is happening.
And like everyone tries to tell you, once you get there, you’ll see it’s just another game.”On the 49ers sidelines on Sunday, there will be a few players left from the Super Bowl loss to the Chiefs during the 2019 season.
Guys like wide receiver Deebo Samuel, tight end George Kittle, linebacker Fred Warner and defensive end Nick Bosa will all appear in their second Super Bowl as a member of San Francisco’s roster.
This message from Montana therefore seems to be aimed more at certain 49ers players who have not yet appeared in a Super Bowl in their NFL career, including quarterback Brock Purdy, left tackle Trent Williams and running back Christian McCaffrey ball.
San Francisco has been to a number of big games in recent seasons, but the Super Bowl is definitely a whole different animal, especially since this season’s contest could receive even more attention due to the presence of the Pop music superstar Taylor Swift in the stands.
