Rashee Rice ‘has admitted to involvement in Dallas car crash’ after police suspected Kansas City Chiefs star raced his Corvette and caused accident before fleeing the scene
Kansas City Chiefs receiver Rashee Rice has admitted to being involved in the car crash that caused multiple injuries in Dallas on Saturday, according to reports
TMZ Sports claims that Rice, who police suspected raced his Corvette with a Lamborghini before causing an accident and fleeing the scene, admitted his role in the crash to the company that owns the Lambo.
The 23-year-old is understood to have leased the luxury car from a company called Classic Lifestyle. The rental agency alleges that his lease agreement states he is the only person allowed to drive the vehicle.
Kyle Coker, the attorney representing The Classic Lifestyle, says that Rice was in the Lamborghini at the time of the crash, despite police suspecting that he was behind the wheel of the Corvette.
Shortly after the incident, he is believed to have fired off a text confirming his involvement in it and promising to pay for the Lambo, which was totaled. The report claims one of his friends was driving the Corvette.
