Antwone has battled some of the best big men in the country the last two years while competing at Rutgers. His experiences will allow him to have an instant impact for us. Antwone is a very versatile player that is extremely tough.”
A three-star recruit out of Ohio, Woolfolk spent both of his seasons in Piscataway as a backup behind starting center Cliff Omoruyi. In 59 career appearances (six starts), he averaged 2.8 points on 56.8% shooting (36.5% on twos, 16.7% on threes, 46% on free throws) and 2.3 rebounds in 9.9 minutes per game.
As a sophomore, Woolfolk averaged 3.3 points on 49.3% shooting (52.4% on twos, 16.7% on threes, 46.5% on free throws), 3.1 rebounds, 0.5 assists, and 0.6 steals in 12.9 minutes per game across 27 appearances. The center saw his role diminish as the winter went on. Woolfolk did not play in five of the final 12 games of the year, averaging just 6.4 minutes in the seven contests he appeared in during that span.
