Vincent Kompany probeerde Johan Bakayoko van PSV Eindhoven aan te trekken toen hij nog Burnley FC-manager was. Het lijkt erop dat de Belg nog een keer zal proberen te tekenen voor zijn landgenoot, dit keer voor Bayern Munich.
Vincent Kompany already wanted you at Burnley last season. Bayern would therefore not be an illogical destination for you.
Johan Bakayoko: I received a call from Kompany last year, that’s true. He explained his vision on football. That was nice. I clarified my view. It was a good conversation, but that was last summer.
This summer you might leave for around €50m. Liverpool, Arsenal, Bayern… They’re all knocking. Can you say something yet?
Bakayoko: The only thing I can say is that next year I will be on a football pitch somewhere.
