The Indiana Fever suffered their fourth straight loss to start the WNBA season on Monday, after they were defeated by the Connecticut Sun, 88-84.
While the loss isn’t ideal, Fever fans had much more of a scare, when Caitlin Clark went down with an ankle injury during the 2nd quarter.
It was clear that Clark rolled her ankle badly in front of the Indiana crowd, which was stunned silent when it happened.
Although Clark eventually returned to the court. And her performance during the game’s second half showed that the injury didn’t slow her down too much.
Injury scare aside, Clark did admit after the game that she is hurting after this most recent loss — albeit for a different reason than fans expected.
