Djokovic tore his meniscus in the second set of his five-set fourth round victory over Francisco Cerundolo at the 2024 French Open earlier this month.
The tennis legend was due to face Casper Ruud in the quarter-finals but was forced to pull out of the tournament and subsequently had an operation on his right knee.
Many thought that Wimbledon, which will begin on July 1, would come too soon for Djokovic, but the 37-year-old arrived in London yesterday and has already practised at the All England Club.
The 2003 US Open winner described Djokovic’s recovery after his surgery as “incredible” and lauded the Serbian by saying he is “a little bit different.”
