Aston Villa have agreed a deal to re-sign midfielder Kane Taylor from Man City, sources have told Football Insider.
Personal terms have now been agreed with the 19-year-old after City accepted an offer of just under £1million for his services.
The deal will also include a 25 per cent sell-on clause for any future transfer.
Taylor will become the latest youngster to make the move to Villa Park and will become their eighth signing of the summer aged 23 or under.

Taylor left Villa Park to join Man City in 2019 and signed a scholarship deal with the club in 2021 before he was handed his first professional contract later that year.
The Birmingham-born midfielder has featured heavily for the academy sides at the Etihad, but has failed to break into the first team under Pep Guardiola.
Last season, he made 28 appearances across all competitions, featuring heavily in the Under-21s’ UEFA Youth League and EFL Trophy campaigns.
The extent of Taylor’s senior experience comes from his EFL Trophy appearances, having featured in games against Grimsby, Barnsley and Bradford.
He was keen to make the move away from City this summer in search of regular senior football and a better pathway into the first team.
Taylor’s performances in City’s academy ranks attracted interest from clubs across the Premier League, but Villa have now won the race for his signature.
