Standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 310 pounds, Parliament is ranked as the 333rd-best player nationally and the top recruit in South Dakota, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
Minnesota’s coaching staff has shown a strong interest in Parliament. In January 2025, offensive line coach Brian Callahan made a second visit to Parliament’s high school, Brandon Valley High School, to observe his lifting session and discuss the Gophers program with him and his family. Parliament expressed his appreciation for the visit on social media, highlighting his positive relationship with Coach Callahan.
Beyond Minnesota, Parliament holds scholarship offers from several notable programs, including Nebraska, Georgia Tech, and Texas Tech. His recruitment is highly competitive, with multiple schools vying for his commitment.
Parliament has already taken official visits to Georgia Tech, Iowa, and Minnesota, attending the Gophers’ October 5, 2024, game against Southern California.
In addition to Parliament, the Gophers have secured commitments from other highly regarded offensive linemen for the 2026 class. Andrew Trout, an imposing presence at 6-foot-6 and 285 pounds, committed to Minnesota in early 2024.
Trout’s performance at ROCORI High School in Cold Spring, Minnesota, included 69 pancake blocks and no sacks allowed during his sophomore year. His athleticism and potential have drawn significant attention from college programs.
Furthermore, Nathan Roy, a four-star offensive lineman from Wisconsin, committed to the Gophers in June 2023.
Roy, standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 275 pounds, held offers from several Power Five schools, including Florida, Illinois, Iowa, and Ohio State. His decision to join Minnesota was influenced by his positive interactions with the coaching staff and his desire to contribute to the team’s success.
These developments underscore Minnesota’s commitment to enhancing its offensive line by attracting top-tier talent.
