New Perks and Discounts
Starting January 6, 2025, Disneyland Resort introduced several new perks for Magic Key Holders. These included a 50% discount on Lightning Lane Multi Passes, available from January 6 to January 31, 2025.
Additionally, Magic Key Holders were offered discounts of up to 30% on select Villas at Aulani and up to 25% on select rooms at Disneyland Resort hotels for stays between January and April 2025. These offerings aimed to provide added value to passholders during the winter and spring months.

Special Events and Experiences
In September 2024, Disneyland unveiled a trio of exclusive ice cream floats at The Golden Horseshoe, available only to Magic Key Holders. This special offering added a sweet touch to the Magic Key experience, available via mobile order through the Disneyland Resort App.
Additionally, during the Lunar New Year festivities from January 17 to January 20, 2025, Magic Key Holders had the opportunity to pick up a complimentary button celebrating the Year of the Snake.
This limited-time offering was available at the exclusive Magic Key Holder section beneath the Silly Symphony Swings at Disney California Adventure Park.
Legal Challenges
Not all experiences have been positive for Magic Key Holders. Jenale Nielsen of Santa Clara, CA, filed a $5 million lawsuit against Disney, alleging that despite holding a Dream Key with no block-out dates, she was unable to attend the parks due to limited park reservations allocated to Magic Key Holders.
She claimed that Disney’s reservation system disproportionately favored ticket purchasers over annual passholders, leading to frustration among Magic Key Holders.
