Houston, TX — April 12, 2025 — Just moments after clinching the title at the 2025 RODEOHOUSTON Championship, Riley Webb of Denton, Texas shocked fans and fellow competitors alike by announcing his retirement from professional rodeo.
The 2025 competition wrapped up in front of a packed crowd at NRG Stadium, where Webb delivered a standout performance, securing yet another championship buckle to add to his impressive career. But it was his post-victory announcement that stole the spotlight.
“This is the perfect ending,” Webb said. “RODEOHOUSTON has always been special to me, and I couldn’t imagine a better place to ride off into the sunset.”
