runDisney has recently released several statements and updates regarding its upcoming events and partnerships, reflecting the organization’s commitment to enhancing the runner experience and expanding its community.

One of the most significant announcements is the new multi-year partnership with Brooks Running, making Brooks the official running shoe of the runDisney race series starting in 2025.

This collaboration includes the creation of Disney-themed running shoes and official race shirts for all runDisney race weekends. Additionally, in 2026, Brooks will design jackets for Club runDisney members.

Adam Ball, Vice President of runDisney, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating that it will elevate the Disney running experience for both recreational and dedicated runners. Melanie Allen, Chief Marketing Officer at Brooks Running, emphasized the powerful energy of running and the magic that runDisney events bring to participants.

In another development, Echelon Fitness has joined as an official multi-year race sponsor, bringing its connected fitness equipment and supportive community to runDisney events.

Echelon will feature its equipment on-site at races and expos, offer interactive demonstrations, and participate in runDisney yoga events. Echelon CEO Lou Lentine highlighted the company’s commitment to helping members reach their finish lines, expressing excitement about joining the runDisney community.

runDisney has also released its 2025–2026 race season calendar, providing runners with ample opportunities to participate in events at Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, and virtually.

Notable events include the 2025 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend from October 23–26, 2025, and the 2026 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend from January 7–11, 2026. Registration dates for these events have been announced, with Club runDisney members receiving early access.

Additionally, runDisney has introduced changes to its Club runDisney membership structure. Starting in 2025, memberships will transition to a traditional calendar year format, running from January 1 to December 31. To ease this transition, existing memberships will be automatically extended for three months, free of charge, ensuring current memberships remain valid through December 31, 2024.

These updates reflect runDisney’s ongoing efforts to enhance the runner experience and expand its community, ensuring that participants continue to enjoy magical and memorable events.
