Disneyland Paris has recently unveiled a series of ambitious expansions and enhancements, reaffirming its commitment to innovation and guest experience.
These developments are part of a €2 billion multi-year transformation aimed at solidifying the park’s position as Europe’s premier family entertainment destination.
World Premiere: A Cinematic Gateway
The former “Disney Studio 1” is being reimagined as “World Premiere,” an immersive entrance to the forthcoming Disney Adventure World.
Slated to open in spring 2025, this area will transport guests into a glamorous film premiere setting, featuring Art Deco-inspired theaters celebrating Disney Animation and Pixar stories.
Highlights include the “Hollywood Gardens Restaurant,” offering al fresco dining, and “Mickey’s of Hollywood Boutique,” a 1920s-style department store showcasing Disney merchandise and a golden Mickey statue designed by animator Eric Goldberg.
Disney Tales of Magic: A Nighttime Spectacle
Debuting on January 10, 2025, “Disney Tales of Magic” is a groundbreaking nighttime show that integrates Main Street, U.S.A. into its storytelling.
Utilizing 20 high-definition projectors, drones, lasers, and a new audio system, the 20-minute spectacle brings to life scenes from classics like “Pinocchio,” “Cinderella,” “Encanto,” and “Inside Out.” The show also features “Live in Magic,” an original song performed by Noémie Legrand and a 100-piece orchestra, recorded at London’s Air Studios.
Disney Music Festival: A Melodic Celebration
Kicking off on April 19, 2025, Disneyland Paris will host its inaugural Disney Music Festival, running through September 7, 2025.
The festival will feature live performances, parades, and concerts across the park, celebrating the diverse musical worlds of Disney and Pixar. Guests can look forward to a pop/rock concert of Disney hits, a marching band parade led by Minnie Mouse, and performances inspired by “Moana,” among others.
Expansion of Disney Village and Hotel Additions
The resort is also undergoing significant enhancements to its accommodations and entertainment areas. A new hotel, replacing the Events Arena and located along Lake Disney, is planned to open by 2036.
This development will include convention space and is part of the Phase 2 expansion of Disney Village, which aims to offer a modern and dynamic experience with new restaurants, shops, and reimagined facades.
Future Attractions: World of Frozen and The Lion King
Looking ahead, Disneyland Paris is set to open “World of Frozen” in 2026, a themed area dedicated to the world of Arendelle, featuring a 36-meter mountain and attractions centered around Anna and Elsa. Additionally, a “Lion King” land is in development, promising an immersive experience with advanced water-based attractions and detailed scenery.
These initiatives underscore Disneyland Paris’s dedication to creating magical experiences for guests of all ages, blending classic storytelling with cutting-edge technology and immersive environments.
