2025 Race Schedule Highlights
The season kicks off with the Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend from September 4–7, 2025, introducing a Halloween-themed race to the Disneyland Resort
This four-day event includes a 5K, 10K, half marathon, and a two-race challenge, all set against a festive backdrop of themed entertainment and character appearances
Following that, the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend takes place at Walt Disney World from October 23–26, 2025
Eachrace—5K, 10K, half marathon, and the Two Course Challenge—features unique Disney-themed designs, such as Mulan and Mushu for the 5K, Olaf for the 10K, and Lady and the Tramp for the half marathon, all celebrating culinary delights
In early 2026, the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend is scheduled for January 7–11, 2026, with registration opening on March 11, 2025
Thisevent will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge, offering runners the chance to experience all four theme parks
Course Enhancements and Start Times
The 2025 Walt Disney World Marathon introduces several course modifications, including an earlier start time of 4:30 AM to accommodate more theme park experience.
Notably, the marathon will begin at EPCOT’s World Showcase and incorporate the newly established walkway between Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Magic Kingdom, enhancing the scenic route

The Virtual Love on the Run 14-Miler is a new addition for February 2025, comprising three distances—2-mile, 5-mile, and 7-mile—celebrating themes of love and friendship Additionally, the runDisney Virtual Series runs from June 1–August 31, 2025, and the 12Ks of Christmas event is scheduled for December 1–31, 2025
