Aston Villa news from BirminghamLive as Jacob Ramsey comes off injured in Luton Town clash
Aston Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey was replaced in the first half of the Premier League clash against Luton Town due to injury.
The midfielder appeared to pick up a knock on his foot after striking the ball towards goal in the 16th minute. After falling to the floor, Villa’s medics treated him before he made his way off and came back on.
But 15 minutes later, he was withdrawn and then made his way around the pitch to the dressing room, limping. Morgan Rogers came on in place of Ramsey and impressed, calling Thomas Kaminski into action not longer after coming into the game.
Ollie Watkins scored either side of Ramsey’s departure, handing Villa a 2-0 lead going into the break at Kenilworth Road.
