The Bulldogs are doing everything they can to hold onto the 6-foot-7 tight end. According to Williams, his commitment to Georgia is as stable as it’s ever been.
“I’m still completely locked in, to be honest,” Williams told Dawgs247. “I’d say I’m more committed than I’ve ever been. It’s been a year now, and I’m still locked in, so even more committed.”

The Westlake (Ga.) wide receiver will take a visit to Georgia ahead of his official visit slate.
The Westlake (Ga.) wide receiver has been one of Georgia’s primary wide receiver targets throughout this recruiting cycle. He’s long been scheduled for a May 31-June 2 official visit to Athens. Now, he will return this upcoming weekend for the scavenger hunt, Smith told Dawgs247.
This will be his first trip back to Athens since the first day of spring practices.

College football recruiting: Top150 CB Cobey Sellers headlines this week’s SEC commits
A look at the prospects who committed to SEC programs over the past week…
The 2025 recruiting cycle is still heating up with summer quickly approaching as some of the top high school football players around the country are announcing their respective college decisions.
During the week of May 10-16, four players committed to an SEC program, with each of those players coming from the 2025 class. The group of SEC commits is headlined by one of the nation’s top cornerbacks.
Four SEC schools secured a commitment this week: Florida, Georgia, Texas and Texas A&M.
With that in mind, scroll down to take a look at the Class of 2025 prospects who committed to an SEC program over the past week.
Recruiting background: A 5-foot-10, 200-pound running back out of Fulshear (Texas) Katy Jordan, Gasper committed to the Gators over Power Four offers from Arizona State, Baylor, Houston, Kansas, Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oregon, Tennessee and Wisconsin, among others.
Florida running backs coach Jabbar Juluke was the lead recruiter for the Lone Star State prospect, who becomes the fifth commitment for head coach Billy Napier and his staff in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
In eight games as a junior, Gasper rushed for 488 yards and 11 touchdowns on 99 carries and caught 15 passes for 136 yards and one score, per MaxPreps.
“It was their culture, passion of the staff and family atmosphere that led me to committing to Florida,” Gasper told Swamp247. “Coach [Billy] Napier and Coach [Jabbar] Juluke painted me a great picture for what they are building and I feel with my skills I can be a value part of their success.
They run the ball, but they also want to throw it. They will try and get their backs involved in the passing game, and they like how I can catch the ball and run routes. They want to. get me in space too.”
Recruiting background: A 5-foot-11.5, 175-pound cornerback out of Pearland (Texas) Shadow Creek, Sellers committed to the Aggies over his other two finalists in Oklahoma and Texas, making him the 11th commitment of the 2025 recruiting cycle for Mike Elko’s program. His recruitment was spearheaded by Texas A&M co-defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach Jordan Peterson.
In 10 games as a junior, Sellers notched 12 tackles and one forced fumble on defense while throwing for 956 yards with 17 touchdowns to one interception and rushing for another 114 yards and three scores on offense, per MaxPreps.
Abbreviated scouting report: “Combination of size, length, and athleticism make him a promising press-man corner. Foot speed is evident battling wide receivers off the line of scrimmage, effectively can mirror in coverage and stay on top of wideouts deeper into the route.

Recruiting background: A 6-foot-1, 197-pound wide receiver out of Savannah (Ga.) Calvary Day School, Blackshear committed to the Bulldogs over fellow finalists Florida State and Tennessee, making him commit No. 9 for Kirby Smart’s program in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
His recruitment was spearheaded by Georgia wide receivers coach James Coley. In eight games as a junior, Blackshear hauled in 27 receptions for 551 yards and five touchdowns on offense while recording eight tackles, two interceptions and two pass breakups on defense, per MaxPreps.
“The coaches, going down there, getting to know the coaches more when I visited and watching them practice, talking to Coach Coley and Coach Kirby, that’s when I made the decision,” Blackshear told Dawgs247. “It was definitely the coaching staff. … (Coach Coley has) really been telling me that I’ll be a great wide receiver at Georgia,” he added. “I remind him of (former Georgia wide receiver) George Pickens a little bit.”
