is just a freshman, but he’s already a familiar name in the offices belonging to most high-major coaches. The class of 2026 prospect is playing up two age divisions in the EYBL and dominating for stretches in most games he plays. He’s all of 6-foot-7 with quickly developing guard skills and will likely be the No. 1 player in the country when Rivals ranks his class later this summer.
Dybantsa averaged 21 points, six rebounds and four assists per contest at last weekend’s EYCL session outside Phoenix and talked to Rivals following one of his games about his rise to prominence and the schools that are already involved in his recruitment.
“We’ve been in contact,” Dybantsa said. “They’ve been in contact with my dad, him and the assistants.”
Dybantsa was very close with the late Terrence Clarke and Clarke spoke highly of Calipari and Kentucky to Dybantsa.
“Through him, I know they’re hard-working and play free, especially with the wings,” he said of his conversations with Clarke.
Dybantsa is also used to playing with a lot of elite talent at Prolific Prep so the transition to practice at Kentucky wouldn’t be as strange.
“In practice, playing against all of these players every day is getting us better,” he said. “Playing with them is fun because not a lot of teams can stop everybody.”

The 6-foot-8 small forward added the Kentucky Wildcats to his official offer list on November 21st, and he said he is blessed to hear from the Cats in a recent interview with KSR.
“I’m just blessed, you know? It’s a high-major school with a lot of NBA players and college champions, so knowing they’re watching me and evaluating me, that’s a good feeling,” Dybantsa said. “It was my most recent offer, a high-major blue blood. I’m blessed that they’re noticing my talents.”
Kentucky has been ramping up its efforts in this recruitment as the staff made a trip to Miami to watch him play following the offer and was also in attendance when he played in Louisville last weekend.
