Lakewood Church in Houston, led by Pastor Joel Osteen, recently suffered a devastating fire, reportedly caused by an electrical fault.
Firefighters responded quickly, but the blaze caused significant damage, with large portions of the church destroyed. Thankfully, the building was empty, and no injuries were reported. Pastor Osteen expressed his sorrow but assured the congregation that services would continue online and in alternative locations while they work to rebuild.
The church’s global community has shown an outpouring of support, with offers to help rebuild and assist in recovery efforts.
