Denver, CO — In a headline-grabbing revelation, Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix has publicly shared his desire to one day suit up for the Detroit Lions — and it’s all about head coach Dan Campbell.

During a candid interview on Sunday, Nix praised the Lions’ culture and leadership, singling out Campbell as a coach he deeply admires and would be excited to play for.

“Coach Campbell is the kind of leader who inspires guys to run through a wall for him,” Nix said. “There’s something real happening in Detroit — the energy, the toughness, the belief — and I’d love to be a part of that someday.”

The 2024 first-round pick has shown flashes of promise in Denver, but with the Broncos in the midst of a rebuild and swirling questions about their long-term direction, Nix’s comments have fueled speculation about his future.

While there’s no official trade request or movement yet, insiders say Nix’s admiration for Campbell and Detroit’s rising status as a contender in the NFC make the possibility worth watching.

Lions fans, meanwhile, have already taken to social media to welcome the idea, seeing Nix as a potential future successor to current QB Jared Goff.

Neither the Broncos nor Lions have issued a response.
