Phish announces 2024 performances at Sphere in Las Vegas
The band Phish has just announced its upcoming performances at Sphere Las Vegas, becoming the second band to play in this high-tech, spherical and immersive venue.
As Phish heads know, the band has never played the same show twice and each of their four shows this April at the Sphere will have completely unique setlists and visuals for a complete sensory experience.
“From the moment we first heard about Sphere and its potential, we imagined ways to bring our show to this breathtaking canvas,” said Phish guitarist and vocalist Trey Anastasio.
“We are excited to bring this completely unique experience to Phish fans.”Sphere Entertainment says these concerts mark the start of a relationship between Sphere and Phish, but will be the band’s only concerts at the venue in 2024.
The four shows will take place April 18-21, 2024. Official tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on December 15, but there is a ticket request period at tickets.phish.com that runs through December 11.
U2 were the first band to play the Sphere with their UV Warning Baby shows, delighting fans with the 160,000 high-quality speakers and 260 million video pixels provided by the new venue. U2 performances will run until February 2024.Julie Sharp is a digital producer at kcalnews.com.
