Browns-Bengals DraftKings Week 18 prop bets: Bet on Cleveland’s Jeff Driskell to get a TD
Also, we roll the dice in a few first drive scenarios.
The Cleveland Browns are on the road to face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 18 of the 2023 NFL season this Sunday, January 7, at 1:00 PM ET. The Browns are 7-point underdogs against the Bengals, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. Here are my favorite player prop bets from the Browns’ perspective in Week 18.
I was 2/3 on my player prop bets last week.
Browns vs. Bengals: Best NFL player prop bets
Jeff Driskel Anytime TD Scorer (+600)
Because of how many backups are starting this week, the traditional player odds on DraftKings are not available for this game. One category they do have available, though, is the “anytime TD scorer,” and with the odds that Jeff Driskel is getting there (+600), I think you have to take a stab that he’ll throw for a score at some point.
Browns to Punt on Their First Drive (-125)
We can’t expect Jeff Driskel to lead a big scoring drive with the backups right away, so I’d take the bet that Cleveland will punt on their first drive.
1st Bengals Drive Results in Turnover, Turnover on Downs, or Safety (+550)
This is another one that I like rolling the dice on because of the high odds it has. I imagine Cincinnati moving the ball against our backup defense on the first drive, but then they get in a scenario where since the game doesn’t matter, they pass up on a field goal and go for it on fourth down, then turn it over on downs. You also get to double dip here in case the drive ends in a turnover or safety.
