Your Los Angeles Lakers will look to get back to .500 tonight as they get set to take on their Western Conference rivals, the Dallas Mavericks tonight.
However, they may need to get through them without their superstar frontcourt duo, Anthony Davis and LeBron James, according to a recent NBA latest injury report.
Davis is listed as probable for tonight’s contest with a left ankle sprain/bone bruise, and James is listed as questionable with a left ankle peroneal tendinopathy.
The Lakers will be without guard Gabe Vincent and forward Cam Reddish.
Tonight’s game is crucial for the purple and gold as they look to get back to .500, but also build some momentum after their big win against the two-seed Oklahoma City Thunder. The team will need James and Davis out there tonight to have a fighting chance.
The superstar duo has been tremendous for Los Angeles. Although the record doesn’t reflect that, this team heavily depends on Davis and James, and against the five-seed Mavs, they’ll need the two.
In 39 games this season, AD is averaging a team-high 25.1 points, 12.2 rebounds, and 3.6 assists, along with 2.5 blocks and 1.2 steals. As for James, he’s averaging 24.7 points in season 21, 7.2 rebounds, and 7.5 assists in 37 games. The Lakers need these two, and hopefully, they will be out there tonight.
