STORRS — UConn running back Andre Dixon was arrested by campus police early Tuesday morning for driving under the influence of alcohol. The junior backup was suspended indefinitely by coach Randy Edsall later in the day, possibly ending his career with the Huskies. According to UConn police, Dixon, 22, was pulled over by an officer at 1:43 a.m. for following too closely behind the officer’s vehicle as they drove east on North Eagleville Road.
