After weeks of building anticipation, MLB has issued a 50-game suspension to Jhonny Peralta of the Detroit Tigers. He and the others punished by the league will now miss all but a few of the remaining games in the regular season. Robbie Gould set to become Chicago-area high school coach Roughly two months after announcing his retirement from the NFL, former San Francisco 49ers kicker Robbie Gould is heading back to the sidelines. According to Michael O’Brien of the Chicago Sun-Times, Gould is set to become a high school football coach at Rolling Meadows High School. Rolling Meadows is a northwest suburb of Chicago, roughly 30 miles from the city. Gould last played in the NFL during the 2022 season.
