Sophomore forward Zennia Thomas has been suspended indefinitely from the Kentucky Women’s Basketball team, UK Athletics announced on Thursday, Nov. 30, just minutes before tipoff of the Wildcats’ SEC/ACC Challenge against Boston College. “Zennia Thomas will not be available for the Kentucky-Boston College game. The sophomore forward is suspended indefinitely for a disciplinary matter that is being handled internally,” UK Athletics stated. It is unclear what the disciplinary matter is or how long Thomas will be unavailable for. ESPN’s Todd Archer suggested the 33-year-old could retire.
