The Georgia Bulldogs have the opportunity to win their third national championship in four years when the 2024 college football season kicks off this fall.
Before the Bulldogs can embark on another national championship run, they have to wrap up spring practice, and play their 2024 Spring Game, better known as G-Day, on Saturday, April 13. Kickoff for G-Day is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET at Sanford Stadium in Athens.
Georgia has become arguably the premier program in college football under head coach Kirby Smart.
The Bulldogs won the national championship in 2021 and 2022, but came up short against Alabama in the SEC Championship Game last year after going undefeated during the regular season. The loss kept Georgia out of the College Football Playoff.
Georgia football spring practice got underway on March 12. The Bulldogs will have to replace multiple players, including tight end Brock Bowers, who will be selected early in the 2024 NFL Draft, but they did sign the No. 1 recruiting class in the country and return a top Heisman Trophy candidate in quarterback Carson Beck.
G-Day will be the first opportunity for several fans to see this year’s team in action. If you want to see the latest Georgia football news, you should join Dawgs247, the 247Sports affiliate that covers the Georgia Bulldogs.
